European Free Software Policy Meeting 2018 - Existing European policies that benefit free software in public services

Abstract

An overview of policies in European Member States and European instututions that benefit free and open source software in public services. These policies can help other Member States to develop similar strategies. The talk is based on my 11 years and ongoing work for the European Commission’s Open Source Observatory (OSOR.eu).
