Open source wins over France’s urban planners France’s Inria unveils open source preservation project
Marseille, France’s second largest city, and OpenMarie, a community of city administrations working on open source software, are boosting the development of OpenADS. France’s national computer science institute, Inria, has unveiled its Software Heritage archive, to “collect, organise, preserve, and make accessible all the source code for all available software”.
