Interview met Bram Moolenaar

Live from the living room of the VIM author

The living room of Bram Moolenaar’s house in Venlo has stacks of computers, computer books, and a large stereo system. This is where VIM was created, one of the most used word processors in the Unix world. The 40-year-old Moolenaar makes the program freely available. Users are asked to transfer money to charities.

An article for the IT trade magazine Computable, published in March 2002.
